Clothing in neutral colors: khaki, light brown/green, tan. Avoid bright colors & white for improved game viewing.

If you are traveling during the South African winter months (April - August), you will definitely need a warm safari jacket, scarf and even gloves!
Swimming costume
Comfortable hiking/walking shoes (not white)
Sunglasses
